Barry Keesey joins the executive team as EVP of Strategic Production
Portland, OR — Opus Agency, a global experience agency and member of The Opus Group network, announces the promotion of Barry Keesey to Executive Vice President of Strategic Production, bolstering our executive leadership team.
In this new role, Barry Keesey will oversee strategy and performance across the production division. He will also serve on the Opus Agency executive team, providing insights, collaboration, and recommendations for expanded production capabilities.

Barry’s unique background in event production and technical theater, anchored by exceptional leadership skills, inspires extraordinary followership across the industry, in our clients’ teams, and within our agency. With more than 20 years of experience, Barry brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, having worked around the globe with industry heavyweights like Allergan, Amazon, Biogen, CA Technologies, Dell, Gilead, Google, and Microsoft and on major programs like Google I/O and RSA Conference.
Barry’s superpowers are evident in his ability to offer insights into the future of event and experience production. This trajectory includes utilizing AI for enhanced efficiencies, leveraging emerging technologies to create immersive attendee experiences, and incorporating artfully crafted theatrical elements to captivate audiences. For our team, this means working in harmony to infuse magic into our clients’ programs.

Before joining Opus Agency, Barry was a Technical Director at Level 2 Design, where his leadership was instrumental in delivering large-scale events for global companies. In 2018, Opus Agency acquired Level 2 as part of a series of strategic acquisitions.
